Monitoring of tree stress signs

Types of work:
  • study of negative processes affecting forests: impact of pests and diseases, drainage or waterlogging leading to forest degradation and destruction;
  • evaluation of forest plantations with chronic diseases which weaken trees, industrial emissions, excessive recreational load;
  • assessment of damaged forest plantations.

Methods:automated interpretation of medium resolution satellite images, analysis of multispectral imagery.

Results: thematic maps of forest degradation, statistical reports, further degradation predictions, assessment of the damaged plantations.
