Forest inventory
Types of work:
- identification of forest areas;
- detailed features extraction;
- forest classification using textural and radiometric interpretation
- forest classification based on age, level of maturity and biological productivity;
- plantation height determination using automatic co-processing of digital terrain models generated from stereo satellite imagery and proven data extracted from the terrain studyи;
- actualization of the taxation database;
Methods: automatic and visual interpretation of high and medium resolution satellite images (using the latest data on forest management and statistical information on the taxation database update).
Results: detailed plans scaled at 1: 10000-1: 25000, explications, statistical data and thematic maps of actual forest lands distribution. Current information on forest resources formed as a database layer. |

В рамках такой актуализации применяется комплекс технологических решений по дешифрированию нарушений и выявлению изменений в лесном фонде по данным космического мониторинга. Результаты обработки ДДЗ могут быть занесены в исходную БД или сформировать новую.
