Mapping of forests
Types of work: forest maps creation and update. Object composition: contours of forests, shrubs, wetlands, drainage network, transport network (roads / railways, public / forest pathway), buildings, structures, forestry facilities and others.
Methods: automatic and visual interpretation of high and medium resolution satellite images using field and statistical information selected. Existing vector layers correction using remote sensing data.
Results: thematic maps and schemes, navigation forest maps, special forest management plans scaled at 1: 50000-1: 100000.
