Monitoring of logging regulation compliance
Types of work:
- control of various types of felling (selective, gradual, continuous), logging areas, placement of logging roads in accordance with the technological map of logging, identification of undercuts and overcuts;
- provision of up-to-date information concerning logging process and logging regulation compliance control;
- disputes adjustment in case of law violation.
Methods: visual interpretation of high resolution satellite images using selective field and statistical data.
Results: thematic maps of logging indicating violations, statistical reports containing the location of cuttings and violation types: overcuts, undercuts, felling areas contamination. |
