Integrated assessment of the environmental condition of a region can be based on a retrospective analysis of satellite images with different characteristics. Assessment of the environmental condition of the region enables assessment of the living conditions of the region. The state of vegetation (grass, trees and shrubs) serves as one of the most important indicators of the environmental conditions of a region.

The state of vegetation within an urban area makes it possible to determine the most environmentally problematic areas of the city, which have a relatively low environmental comfort for living.
