SI Imaging Services (SIIS) is a new satellite imagery provider for Remote Sensing and Earth Observation. SIIS is the exclusive worldwide marketing and sales representative of KOMPSAT series which is KOMPSAT-2 (1.0 m optical), KOMPSAT-3 (0.7 m optical), KOMPSAT-3А (0.5 m optical), KOMPSAT-5 (1.0 m SAR) and DubaiSat-2  (1.0 m optical). SI Imaging Services provides the Satellite Imagery Worldwide through over 80 sales partners. The Remote Sensing Technology Center of Japan (RESTEC) was established in August 1975, with the aim of implementing basic and comprehensive research and development of remote-sensing technology for investigating global phenomena and Earth resources using data obtained from satellites, and disseminating knowledge of remote-sensing technology and other utilization of space technology, in order to promote economic growth and social development as well as the well-being of the nation.
